Altered states, sensory phenomena, and spiritual experiences in naturalistic settings

This research explores altered states of consciousness, sensory phenomena and spiritual experiences in naturalistic environments outside controlled laboratory conditions. By integrating neuroscience, psychology, and phenomenology, it examines how context, culture, and group dynamics shape perception, experience, and appraisal, as well as their implications for mental health and daily functioning.
